In a 2008 interview with The Telegraph, Adele expressed how chart music had defined her musical experience until then. She described the encounter with the timeless voices of James and Fitzgerald as a revelation or an awakening. 

Adele’s journey to stardom began at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology. The Brit is a government-funded secondary school for the performing arts. Adele honed her talents at the BRITS and her talent shone through a class project demo which a friend posted on her Myspace page.

Adele released ’25’ in November 2015. The album achieved immense success globally, topping iTunes charts in 110 countries and selling 3.38 million copies within seven days in the U.S., surpassing NSync’s previous record. Notably, 25 is the sole album to reach one million copies sold in the United States within a remarkable 10 days, solidifying its status as an international smash hit.

On November 19, 2021, Adele released her fourth album 30. Adele’s album “30” achieved remarkable success, selling 1.99 million copies, comprising 1.219 million physical copies and 845,000 digital downloads.
